Blackfriars Bistro has been around the neighbourhood for many years and it has fantastic food and catering. They also just added a lovely cafe/takeout place next door which has amazing food to go.

A wrought iron bowstring arch through truss bridge, crossing Thames River. It was built in 1875 and still functioning. At 216 ft, it is the longest working span of that kind in North America. Recently rebuilt and reinstalled. Cross the river in style. Walk west down Central Ave all the way to the dead end and follow the steps down to the North end of Harris Park. Ounce you cross, on the far side of the river you can go along the high road past Labatt Park , one of Canada's oldest baseball diamonds, to the next bridge and walk back along Dundas St. This is where the Jette d'Eau( the large fountain) is located, at the Forks of the Thames. The courthouse and old Jail is on this side of the river as well as The Art gallery.
