This bar is tucked in the W Hotel. I'd consider it a hidden gem with some of the best cocktails the city has to offer! On Sundays, they host Legs & Eggs - a Burlesque-style brunch, that is certainly worth checking out. Also home to one of the best happy hours! Menu is offered daily from 4-6 & includes snacks!

BURLESQUE - How about some legs with your eggs? Sobou dishes brunch with a sassy kick every Sunday from 11:30-1:30. World-famous burlesque dancer Bella Blue performs to live music while you dine on three creative Creole courses by Chef Juan Carlos Gonzalez. New Orleans has a long history with burlesque dancing. Our city was a burlesque hot spot from the 1940s to when clubs were shut down in the 1960s. This fun brunch is Sobou's homage to this historic and beautiful art form. The Burlesque show begins between 11:45 and noon, followed by two more performances between then and 1:30 p.m

“CBD SEAFOOD - Grand Isle is the strip of land off mainland Louisiana known for its amazing fishing. Grand Isle Restaurant, with its menu of fresh local seafood and vintage photos channeling the same gulf goodness as its namesake. Situated on busy Fulton Street, Grand Isle lassos a lot of flavor in gulf specialties like smoked fried oysters with garlic aioli and a version of grilled oysters with havarti and tasso that is completely off the hook. The smoked drum chowder with roasted corn is another treat, and you can't miss with anything seafood. steak specials or the winning combo of confit pork cheek and baby clams served with crunchy popcorn rice pilaf. ”

“SEAFOOD - Ernst Cafe has existed in the Warehouse District of New Orleans for over a century, nestled in a Pre-Civl War structure. The atmosphere is a friendly, family type of setting where talking, chattering and having a good time are all allowed. Ernst is known for having "Crawfish Fridays" during crawfish season, where you can get a tray of the famed shellfish and enjoy discounts on the local brew as well (Abita). If you happen to visit outside of the normal crawfish season, they always serve up a mean crawfish etouffee which is something everyone visiting New Orleans should try.”

“VOODOO - Rev. Zombie's Voodoo shop shares ownership with Marie Laveaux's and is a little more on the novelty side, walking the fine line between authentic voodoo shop (with dolls, masks, lucky charms, etc.) and selling kitschy souvenirs. People interested in both demographics can find what they are looking for while falling under the spell of the shop's particular brand of spiritual aura. If you're looking for something beyond the typical souvenir, this is the place for dolls, potions, amulets, books and all matter of spiritual supplies. There are also displays of gris-gris (voodoo charms), potions and memorabilia pertaining to Voodoo queen Marie Laveau,”
