Totnes is a town full of character. It has many quirky and interesting shops and lots of lovely places to eat. There are a several vegan, vegetarian and whole food outlets. The cinema is worth a visit for a completely different experience from your normal cinema popcorn and plush seating.

Totnes and Dartington are certainly worth a visit bustling bohemian with some ancient buildings and a Saxon castle .very pretty and unique.

A lovely place to visit, the dart river provides a stunning backdrop for boat trips to Dartmouth, short walks, waterside eating, kayaking and canoeing, and the whole area is a paradise for cyclists and those who want to get outdoors. There are a number of walks leading from the town which explore the river banks and surrounding countryside.There are lots of lovely independent shops in this thriving market town.
