One of the best local mountain bike rides around and the start of the infamous Great Lake Trail (Whakaipo to Kinloch W2K). From here you can ride to Kinloch through native bush with amazing views of Lake Taupo. Include the Headland loop for the best views ever adding an awesome 10 km's of trail to your ride.

Rural and peaceful. Large beach with excellent swimming , There is the bike walking trail over to Kinloch . the W2K , it is the place for swimming , picnicking and trout fish , it is 5 mins down the road from Taupo Farm Villa at Whakaipo, Enjoy
