Great place for a rainy day. Hard hat and torch provided. Steep steps going down into a series of caves. Dogs welcome. Granite and slate rock 500 million years old juxtaposed with shards of light from the surface creating a theatrical display of colour. Interesting information at each cave about how it was created and of the lives of those who worked there. Good views of the coast on a clear day from outside the cafe and shop

A truly unique experience through the historically significant quarry. Starting with an exhilarating ex-military truck ride to the highest peaks of the 2,000 acre site you will visit the vast quarries of Maenoffern, Diffwys Casson and more. Make sure you have cameras at the ready for the breathtaking views.
