It's kind of wild that there's an internationally renowned Buddhist World Peace Temple up here. They offer meditation classes, study programs and retreats and the beautiful 82 wooded acres are open and we recommend going there to hike the nature trails and enjoy a picnic in the outdoor seating areas. There's an outdoor café and coffee bar that might be open - check their website for updated info.

One of four Kadampa Temples in the world. Open for group visits and Temple tours. The Kadampa Temple provides group and individual meditation retreats and Buddhist courses and classes for all levels. Gift shop and cafe are open to the public. Well-priced guest accommo- dations (single to dorm). Open daily YR, 11:30am-4pm.
