This is now called The Wild Hare in Tintern. A lovely place to relax and have coffee and cake. They have nice relaxing sofas so you can just sit back and enjoy yourselves. Also do a good food menu. They have local products for sale around the place for you to browse at your leisure.

Within walking distance from Reddings Retreat the Hare, formally the Royal George Tintern has a great menu to suit all appetites.

The Wild Hare (formerly The Royal George) is only 4 1/2 miles away from The Mews House in Tintern Village. This place has gained a huge reputation locally for fantastic food. It is well worth a visit. Must pre book.

Their restaurant The Wild Hare is fab. And dog- friendly. Bit pricey but interesting food.
