Young couples and groups of tourists head up here just to see the sunset. It's also from here that you get a view over almost the entire city.
The most beautiful view in the city and the highest point in Lisbon. Beautiful relaxing spot.
One of the best viewpoints in Lisbon if not the best. Really worth of climbing. You have to climb 166 steps so for some people it may be hard. But the view, landscape are breath-taking.

“The Castelo de Sao Jorge stands majestically above Lisbon and is one of the finest tourist attractions in the city. The castle is entwined in Lisbon’s early history; it saw the fall of the Romans to the Visigoths, experienced the fierce conflicts between the Arabs and Christians, survived formidable sieges by the Castilians and witnessed the birth of Portugal as a seafaring nation. This varied and turbulent history is reflected throughout the castle. There are heavily fortified battlements, medieval royal quarters and seaward views, which inspired exploration within Portuguese kings.”

“Graça viewpoint, formally known as Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen viewpoint, is situated in the square of the same name. The panoramic view from this viewpoint allows to see from São Jorge Castle to the river, from Mouraria to Baixa Pombalina, to the colorful houses of Lisbon, the streets and gardens.”

“Probably the most popular seafood place in the country made famous internationally by Anthony Bourdain after a stop over in Lisbon. A hot tourist spot with some waiting time, but totally worth it!”

“The building itself, an old refurbished palace is a must see. The museum will teach you a lot about the history of Portugal, seen through its beautiful tile art. ”
