“Very beautiful building and a very extensive collection of pottery, clothing, and a lot of beautiful jewelry. Well laid out and at the time we went, mid-afternoon, not crowded at all. Very upmarket cafe on the top floor with good views which would be good in warmer weather when the outside space is useable. Well worth a look. ”

“If you like guns, airplanes, ships, and war machines you will definitely love it. There are three floors full of war equipment from ancient to modern times plus paintings and statues. One of the most underrated museums in Athens. The entrance fee is low, only 6 euros and you will enjoy every penny. Metro station Evangelismos is located a few meters from the museum and there is also underground parking next to it (with charge). Definitely worth a visit. ”

“Really interesting museum with all the history of Athens and what felt like the whole of ancient Greece. Definitely worth a visit as it houses all the most fascinating relics from all the sites and ruins of Athens. You can view the Antikythera Mechanism, statues of Zeus, busts of Hadrian, gold of ancient warlords, and more. You will need at least 3 hours here to view everything and read about your favorite exhibits.”
