The place to be in the Spring and Summer. Parades, food vendors, festivals, fitness events, concerts, and everyday people watching.
Great city plaza located off the Detroit Riverfront. Many concerts, carnivals, and festivals held here throughout the year.
As well as featuring a number of historical markers and statues, including the 27-foot (8.2-meter) sculpture of heavyweight champion Joe Louis’s fist and the Horace E. Dodge and Son Memorial Fountain, Hart Plaza hosts many free events during the summer months and is one of the city’s top riverfront…
The monument to Joe Louis is here. It looks like a giant fist. There is also the Horace E. Dodge and Son Memorial Fountain in heart plaza. The area is located right on the Detroit River board walk.
This iconic place holds a spot in history and the hearts of every Detroiter. Stunning view of Canada with many activities along the Riverwalk is a great backdrop for photos and a stroll to take in all the city has to offer.

“This is a much better than average community theater in a beautiful building. The shows change regularly. I've always been able to get a ticket at the last minute, but if you book ahead you'll get a better seat. Depending on the show, this may or may not be family friendly.”
