Seal Bay Nature Park

This nature park is a local favorite. It is on the ocean and filled will multiple trails of all ability.
We love the walk down to Seal Bay. The beach itself is rocky when you get down there, but it is the forest trails enroute that feels like a true rainforest. Ok for kids, not too difficult.
Nice scenic walk down to the ocean. The path zig zags down on a gentle slope with safety railing. About a 1 km walk total.

“Goose Spit is a great place for a beach excursion and has a shoreline walk to a pristine sandy beach the locals call “Little Mexico”. ”

“With the Beaufort mountain range to the west; Georgia Strait to the east; a sunny, southwesterly exposure and 12 gently sloping vineyard acres, Beaufort surely boasts one of Vancouver Island’s most enviable vineyard positions. Our winery is situated in the Comox Valley—an area of spectacular natural beauty with a robust farming heritage. Winemaker Freya Timmermans crafts the vintage in small batches for a unique expression of our Island’s cool coastal climate. Expect youthful, fruit-driven reds, and lively, aromatic whites. Vancouver Island is a wine region with a distinctly cool character. It is fuelled by a community of committed growers, gregarious makers, and exceptionally supportive consumers. We love it here, and we hope that you will too. Our tasting room is open seasonally and is situated at the top of the driveway in a renovated barn with a rusty orange roof. We value a cosy and unpretentious approach to sharing our wines. Our tasting room is small, and our team is tight-knit. We look forward to welcoming you as soon as the season begins. ”

“Head over to 40 Knots for a nice tasting experience and then buy a bottle and explore the vineyard. If you don't bring along your own sacks you can buy goodies and they'll put them in a little picnic box - it's a good time.”
