Its within walking distance from campsite, I have not been there recently so can comment but historically it has been a good pub for food

This is a community owned village pub just the other side of Axminster. It has great local beers and fine, locally sourced food. It’s advisable to book in advance. They also offer a Thai Takeover menu for take away or eat in (or out) every Wednesday from 5.30-8pm. Stockland EX14 9BS, 01404 881686

Beautiful pub with great food, right in the centre of a picturesque village with its own National Trust property.

Set in another beautiful, traditional ham stone villages, The Kings Arms offers fantastic food, and an excellent beer garden.
