Great breakfast and lunch. A small locally owned restaurant

This place is owned by an awesome Christian gentleman who loves to make great food and give great service. It literally is a little shed restaurant so do not expect something extravagant. A low key, quick eatery with the largest pancakes I have ever seen. Definitely worth a try in Pigeon Forge.

Our friend Lynn owns this and he home cooks all the food. It's delicious, affordable and the owner is great.

“Huck Finn's Catfish is one of the most highly regarded restaurants in Pigeon Forge, a mecca for southern cuisine. You'll love the catfish or the chicken, and the other seafood specialties are tasty, too. You can even order a 10-ounce steak if you're in the mood for something heavier. Try out some of these popular menu items: Bottomless Bowl of Baked White Beans & Turkey Ham: Everything listed including the cole slaw qualifies as vittles. As such, it’s free and all you can eat. Huck Finn’s Catfish offers amazing value for the price. Huck’s Made-from-Scratch Hushpuppies: You’re not seriously going to eat seafood without hushpuppies. Come on. Skin-On Homemade Mashed Taters & Gravy: Exactly what it sounds like and kind of gross to look at. It’s delicious, though. Creamy Cole Slaw with Our Secret Dressing: The secret ingredient in this dressing is presumably ambrosia. Gator Tail: East Tennessee is Volunteer Country. Gators aren’t welcome here unless we’re eating them for dinner. Grain-Fed, Pond-Raised Catfish: Few restaurants in the south take catfish as seriously as Huck Finn’s Catfish. You won’t believe how flavorful each bite is. Down Home Southern Fried Chicken: Just like granny used to make, only you can eat as much as you want and don’t have to pretend like you’re happy she gave you socks for your birthday. Huck’s Favorite Catfish & Chicken Combo: Why should you choose a protein when you can get both? Insider Tip: The restaurant doesn’t frown on sharing, especially for big groups. If, say, five of you are ordering, one of you should choose the endless plate of catfish while another can pick the chicken. Then, the others can order off the rest of the menu. You can then share bites of each other’s food. Just don’t abuse the privilege. Servers do have the right to refuse additional plate refills. It almost never comes up, though. The overwhelming majority of guests are courteous enough to appreciate what a great and thoughtful gesture this practice is.”

“Alcatraz East, which is located near The Island in Pigeon Forge, is a fantastic new crime museum that will have crime geeks drooling. The huge, 25,000 square feet museum includes five unique galleries and over 100 interactive exhibits! The design of the Alcatraz East building was modeled after the first prison in the State of Tennessee and Alcatraz. The museum incorporates the castle-like look of the 1898 Tennessee State Prison just outside of Nashville and the watch towers of Alcatraz. A few of our favorite exhibits include: American Crime- Remember O.J Simpson speeding away in the white Ford Bronco? That vehicle and many other famous getaway cars can only be seen at Alcatraz East. There are plentiful artifacts and souvenirs including guns, papers, vehicles and more that remind us of some of the most famous criminals in our country’s history. Punishment- Want to hang out in a jail cell for the afternoon? Now, you have your chance to get behind bars! Spend some time getting your mug shot taken, take a lie detector test, and then experience jail life… temporarily. In addition to the permanent exhibits, Alcatraz East rotates through temporary exhibits – this was actually one of our favorite facets of this cool museum. The ugly truth of wildlife trafficking was the temporary exhibit the day we visited. As a local who loves our black bears, it was interesting to discover that our beloved creatures are being illegally killed to produce medicines. The temporary exhibit was a collaborative production with several non-profits and government agencies meant to highlight the dangers of the multi-billion dollar illegal wildlife trafficking industry.”

“Greenbrier is a great place to have a picnic. They have picnic tables and bbq grills set up right on the little pigeon forge river within GSMNP. The views are great and the little ones can even dip in the water. Beautiful butterflies, and sometimes wildlife like squawking geese! Don't leave any food behind for the Bears!”

“This is full of parrots and interesting structures. You can take photos of the birds and with the birds. Opportunity to feed them and even purchase a bird to take home from the nursery.”
