The walk trail takes you to the rotary park at the bottom if town, you can get a great coffee here at the Hairy Marron and hire bikes if you wish to explore further. You can walk back through town or along the other bank of the river. There are also exercise machines, BBQ's, a play area and the 'Old Kate' steam engine at the rotary park end which is visible from the road as you enter town.

Great place for a walk in the forest, along the banks of the Margaret River. Cross the bridge and turn left or right for equally lovely walks. You can swim here also, but look out for signs warning of health hazards during periods when the river isn't flowing.

Fancy a swim? Just a 10 minute walk along the track is Barrett St Weir. A great freshwater swimming hole. A tad bit cold in winter - but you'll probably have it all to yourself if you take a dip.
