The Chateau de Bourdeilles dominates the village and is the center of a visit. In fact the 'chateau de Bourdeilles' consists of two distinct castles - an older castle, and then a larger more recent renaissance castle. The chateau gardens are very traditional French style - plenty of small meticulously shaped shrubs - and give a lovely backdrop to the chateau.

A chateau and a keep. The keep rooms are more child-friendly (lots of space and few breakables) and tower has gorgeous views over the countryside. Bourdeilles itself is well worth a visit.

A small chateau in a beautiful village on the river Dronne. Open nearly everyday of the year.

Small garden and château. The tour is very detailed and not overly well structured. About 40 min drive
