China Beach is located along the Strait of Juan de Fuca and is a sandy beach that is great for walking and enjoying the ocean-like scenery. There are many views looking across the Strait towards the state of Washington and marine wildlife can sometimes be spotted, such as orcas or seals.

Beautiful hike on the west coast!! Approximately 1 hour and 25 minute drive (77km). Check out Shirley Delicious recommendation to start/finish off your hike:)

china beach is right down the road less than 10 minute drive, from here there are a number of scenic hikes and also the larger multi day juan de fuca trail

this is a quick 20-30 minute walk on an easily walkable trail to the beach. Please note there is spots on this trail with un-even stairs and roots visible. Please use with caution.
