This street is great for shopping mostly shoes and clothes. You can also get a coffee or a glass of beer/wine in one of the 'brown' bars. Also some good restaurants in the Utrechtse straat.

One of our favourite streets in the city center of Amsterdam is the Utrechtsestraat. Filled with nice shops, restaurants and other hotspots. Because whether you’re looking for food hotspots or concept stores, the Utrechtsestraat has it all!

“Another one of those museums you don't want to miss out on, it has an extensive Victorian Era art collection housed inside! Named after museum and river in St. Petersburg in Russia.”

“The quaint and quirky streets that straddle Amsterdam’s grandest canals form the city’s most photogenic micro-neighborhood. Known to locals as De Negen Straatjes or ‘The Nine Streets’, this special neighborhood is full to bursting with vintage and designer shopping, specialty stores and cozy cafés. If you ask us the Nine Streets are the most cosy streets of Amsterdam. You find them within walking distance of the Dam Square at the western part of the Canal District. Like the name suggests, the district is famous for its nine streets connected by the canals. Here you will find great fashion boutiques and delicious lunch cafes. The Nine Streets are a must visit for everyone living in- or visiting Amsterdam. The Nine Streets consist of: Reestraat, Hartenstraat, Gasthuismolensteeg, Berenstraat, Wolvenstraat, Oude Spiegelstraat, Runstraat, Huidenstraat and Wijde Heisteeg. This neighborhood is a very popular area to buy clothes, books, jewelry and art. Fans of vintage clothes can shop at Laura Dols, Episode or Zipper. If you arrive in the beautiful Nine Streets around noon try to get a table at one of the many cute little eateries like Ree7 or Pluk. Enjoy wandering around the Nine Streets! ”

“The Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam is one of sixteen national museums in the Netherlands. The collection offers an overview of Dutch art and history, including works by 17th-century Dutch masters such as Rembrandt, Vermeer and Hals.”

“Discover the most beautiful market in Amsterdam Anyone who knows Amsterdam knows the Albert Cuyp! The market has been a favorite place for Amsterdammers since 1905, but tourists, students, day trippers and entrepreneurs are also at home there. Located in one of the most popular neighborhoods in Amsterdam and the place where you can experience authentic atmosphere, humor and conviviality. Here you can enjoy a relaxed atmosphere. A day in Amsterdam is not complete without a visit to the Albert Cuyp.”

“At this small square you will find a lot of Amsterdam people heading out to have their ''borrel'' together. For example at Mash (bar) they have amazing cocktails and snacks. Try the snack platter and enjoy a dark 'n stormy here. It is also just around the corner of the famous Albert Cuyp-market (which closes around 5 or 6 pm). ”
