The Provincial Capitol Lagoon is one of Bacolod's landmark. Locals love to come here to unwind and do nothing. It's a great place to go if you have a few hours to kill, and not sure where to go. Best time to visit i early morning or late afternoon.

Enjoy a walk, stroll or jog in the nicest park in the city. Join locals and travelers to enjoy this beautiful park. Zumba every morning. Some weekends make it a local race starting point. Crowds gather early in the morning and in the evening. Find delicious munchies around the perimeter of the park.

The capitol grounds is one of the most famous parks found in the heart of the city. Structures and attractions in the area include the Negros Occidental Provincial Capitol Building, a man-made lagoon and monuments like the ‘Ang Paghimud-os”. Just like any other public parks, this is a favorite area for activities like picnics, aerobics, and school presentation rehearsals. The park is along Lacson Street. To get there, hop on a Bata-Libertad jeepney.
