On top of the cliffs, looking out over St.Brides Bay, you will find a small well/spring said to be good for healing knee problems! A very small chapel - still in use for small services quiet and contemplation. St.Non was St.Davids mother. A short circular walk to take in the stunning views.

Probably my favourite coastal walk is from St Davids center to St Nons well and chapel, the ancient birthplace of St David in the 6th century, and along the coastal path (just over a mile) to the stunning natural harbour of Porthclais - the drama and beauty of this part of the coast is just breathtaking and the cliffs are full of sea pinks in late spring. There is a National Trust kiosk on the car park by the harbour which offers the best coffee, cakes, icecream and sandwiches. I love a wild dip here - be sure to have a tow float with you though if you decide to head in!

Said to be the birthplace of St Davids, the patron Saint of Wales. The views are lovely here. It's about a 10-15minute walk from St Davids or a 2 minute drive

The well is said to have sprung up when St David was born on the cliffs in a thunderstorm. It is reputed to cure eye diseases. The ruin of the original ancient chapel stands in the field nearby. The photo shows the very beautiful reconstructed chapel of St Non,built from ancient chapel stones which past farmer's had used for stone walls around the fields. 15 mins walk from Yr Hen Bopty across the fields.Magnificent views across St Bride's Bay and towards Ramsey Island
