Basic groceries plus upscale deli, incredible Panini sandwiches, good selection of beers, wines, cheeses, vegetables. Very nice people.
Closest market to the cabin, has most essentials you could need including great wine, local goodies and the famous seaweed bread baked at Harbor House Inn.
A great small store with tasty deli sandwiches - I recommend the hoagie bread and the mendo mix (Mendocino mustard and mayo) with your favorite fillings. There is a nice selection of tasteful gifts and local wines as well.
Our local store... basic necessities for a picnic with a curated selection of beers, wines, and cheeses. We always love to support our local community.

“So I was told when I first moved into town, that I need to eat where the locals eat. That is where the food is always the best. David’s has got this one hands down in my opinion. It’s a big noisy coffee shop that is usually crowded, but don’t let that fool you, the service is excellent. So is the food. ”

“ This cafe is located in the town of Elk, approx. 15 miles south of Mendocino. It will take 20-30 minutes, depending on season and traffic. Driving along the coast is scenic and beautiful, so take your time. The food is great, atmosphere even better. This is a local spot and very popular, so during the summer season, can require a bit of a wait. If you have a larger party, they will take a reservation, otherwise, its first come, first seated. There is an outdoor deck that has a nice view to the ocean side. It can be a bit brisk, even in summer, so have layers to don. The beach is located across the street and is a great way to either work up an appetite or work off a meal. ”
