Toronto Islands

A huge park off the waterfront downtown. To the East there is a lovely neighborhood of small cottages, in the middle is Centre Island with a small Amusement park and to the West there are Beaches (including a nude beach at Hanlans point)

Great spot to get panoramic views of City of Toronto. A big park with fresh water beaches, kids activities, swings by the lake, lush green park with a lake stream and many birds.

The best getaway from the city. Take the ferry or a water taxi over, rent a bike and enjoy the island vibes. The islands are car free, gorgeous and peaceful. Swimming is possible at many points, and restaurants are open if you want to take shade from the beach.

Toronto Islands is probably our favourite place in all of Toronto! We believe it is a must-see if you have never been and you will be wow’ed during your entire visit! Take the ferry at the Jack Layton ferry terminal over to the Toronto islands and enjoy a day at the beach with views of the city! Enjoy Ward’s beach for a family friendly experience or Hanlan’s nude beach for a day of partying! You can bring your bikes to get around quickly!
