Långholmen är en vacker ö som tillhör Stockholms innerstad. Här finns en rik historia, präglad av det forna fängelset som lades ner 1975. Nu finns caféer, restaurang och badplatser.

It is about 15 minutes to get to Långholmen, a half-island. Here are canoes to rent, cafés, restaurants and a small playa. Cute to walk around with some interesting buildings, but mainly for the beautiful walk along the water.

Nice to stay here if you want to swim in Mälaren and come close to the nature. A cosy small harbour with lots of nice, small boats to look at

Beautiful island, lots of places to swim from cliffs(the beach is best if you go with kids). Nice place to walk around.

A lovely area for a walk, port with exclusively wooden boats, very cozy area (also the prison island of our city)

“This little cinema (BIO RIO) in Hornstull (40 min walk or 2 stops away with the tube) is my favourite cinema in the city. They will show the independent movies as well as the blockbusters. The cinema is old and very beautiful, if you want you can eat your dinner and drink a glass of wine while watching the movie (this you have to pre book). This place is perfect to come to for a drink while watching the sunset over the water, before you watch your movie (or just come for the drink, the dinner you should eat somewhere else though).”
