I don't go to Bar Orange to eat, rather to sit on the balcony overlooking the Kamo River with a bottle of red wine. This little bar is in the middle of Ponto-cho. A little hard to find because it's on the 5th floor, but it is well sign posted if you are looking for it. Tourists don't go here so you can usually get a seat outside all year round. Wine is about 3000yen per bottle. It's very dimly lit, quite romantic. Great view. Closes at 1:00am.
