It is situated on top of hill. It is an Hindu Temple. It features a courtyard & a stone idol of Karni Mata, plus sweeping views.

you can enjoy Karni Mata site seeing from 9.00 AM to 9.00 PM. but plz try to give preference after 6:30 PM, as night view of udaipur city,city palace & lake pichhola is awesome. over a year ago. The Ropeway timings are from 9.00 AM to 9.00 PM.ticket price is around 90₹ per person .After sunset , the lights from various monuments/hotels are very beautiful from the top. Of course , visiting in daytime has it's own advantage.. morning till before sunset.. the temple is perched on the top of a hill giving a spectacular view of endless beauty. The view of Lake Pichola, Lake Palace, the mighty Sajjangarh Fort, the DudhTalai Park and the picturesque city of Udaipur is exquisite. There are two ways of reaching the temple. You can either go on foot, or take the ropeway up the hill. The ropeway ride is a great experience with the dense forest on one side, and the lake and city on the other…the contrast is fascinating.

Shri Manshapurna Karni Mata Temple is a Hindu temple located on the Machla Magra Hills, near the Doodh Talai Lake in Udaipur, Rajasthan. It enshrines the stone idol of Karni Mata. One can have very beautiful view of whole city and its lakes from the temple as well as while climbing. The walk is pollution-free as no vehicles can enter in the hill boundary.
