As the crown of the beautiful old state mental hospital, The Ridges is now part of Ohio University with its own unique history. The Kennedy Museum, and a lovely art exhibition space-Lin Hall, is in the central administration building which is worthwhile just for the architecture. The museum has an amazing chief’s robes and silver-turquoise jewelry collection.

The Kennedy Museum has outstanding exhibitions, a great view of Athens, and is part of the historic Ridges area.
