You will definitely have heard of this beach, as it is one of the best in Greece and in Europe. It is located 5 km from Naxos town at a sheltered location with white sand and a length of 1,5 km. It is well organized and offers its visitors many opportunities and facilities for sunbathing and water sports of all kinds. Here you will enjoy the natural beauty in all its glory. On the edge of the coast you will find the church of Agios Prokopios. Behind the dunes lies a village with hotels, cafes and bars.

Just 2km south of Chora is the beach called Agios Georgios.For the most people is the best in Cyclades, not only in Naxos.It has been rated as Greece’s third best beach and among Europe’s top ten. An enormous beach with coarse sand, the setting here includes sand dunes and crystal-clear waters whose color alternates from blue to deep blue and turquoise.It operates as an organized beach with sun umbrellas and sunbeds set up along its greatest part, but also includes a quieter, less frequented segment at its western edge, where the chapel of the same name stands.

Located on the west of Naxos, Agios Prokopios is the most desired and beautiful beach on the island- and one of the best in Europe. The soft sand stretches for 1.2 km, with golden streams of sun and gentle winds. It tends to be a bit crowded in July & August, but it's definitely worth a visit!
