Lindor's Abbey ruins and Lindores Abbey Distillery are not only historical important but extremely interesting. The Distillery has put on a permanent exhibition about the lives of the monks which is highly educational.

Not only is Lindores Abbey within the small town of Newburgh, of historical interest but it has its very own distillery and restaurant - which caters to a high standard and has a wonderfully elegant rustic style about it. This young distillery & restaurant is a must for food and drink lovers.

You have to visit this place, either for a few drinks in the evening or for coffee and cake during the day. It's a stunning building, and they often have a few art exhibitions on.

Did you know Newburgh has the earliest written records of whisky production in Scotland! The fantastic Lindores Distillery is well worth a visit!
