Cool place for kids to see real dinosaur footprints and to take a hike. Best for kids ages 4+ but our two year old enjoyed. It as well!

Dinosaur Ridge Trailhead takes you up to the top for sunsets and views. The area is a historical site with actual dinosaur footprints and fossils. 10 minutes away.

It is free to walk up the ridge and see the dino footprints, but I recommend getting a seat on the tour bus! You get to see a lot more and you get the insider knowledge from the guide.

If you need something to do before you can check in do it with dinosaurs! You may not know it but you are deep in world famous dino-country!
