Kilkare State park is a 10min drive. Visit for the day. Take a picnic, swim in Lake Champlain. You can catch a ferry there to visit Burton state park. There is a small café on the island and it's fun to sit there and watch the boats pulling in or to walk the island trails.
We have lake access using our dock but there is also black sand beaches nearby!! (Ask us) We also have a fishing boat and kayaks!
Its right in front of you.The 6th great lake and its the biggest in country outside of the Great Lakes. Great fishing, boating, swimming, sightseeing. Rent or charter a boat to get to know this historic waterway.
Beautiful Lake with lots to do during the warmer months- Gorgeous year-round with a boardwalk right on the lake. Take a walk down- you won't be sorry!
