The Children's Museum of Virginia is the largest children's museum in the state of Virginia. It is located in the heart of Olde Town Portsmouth at 221 High Street. The museum has a planetarium and two floors of interactive, hands-on exhibits.

If you have children the Children's museum of Portsmouth is a must stop. There are many activities that will allow your kids to imagine, explore and discover through playing, toys, and shows. The grocery store and the dental exhibit were our top favorites.
