This is a day trip away, but highly recommend booking a natural hot springs tub along the river for a relaxing experience. Awesome way to warm up in winter

Cleanse and refresh your soul in the mineral spring waters, listen to the Laurel River roar, and in early summer, watch the fireflies dance dazzling spirals for you. About an hour's drive from the Hawk, but absolutely worth a visit! Be sure to call ahead, especially during peak season, because they book up fast.
