In season, you can enjoy jams and booze soaked breads made by monks. Their goods are worth every penny.
What a fun place to stop. They have very long lines on Saturdays. If you drive by and don't see a line, stop in! Closed on Sunday.
Operated by the monks of Holy Transfiguration Skete. Featuring preserves, fruitcakes, fresh bakery and confections. Located near Jacob's Falls. Open May through mid-October.
No visit is complete to the Keweenaw Peninsula without stopping by the Jampot. They have delicious baked goods, jams, and breads for sale. And you can enjoy your treats while checking out Jacobs Falls located a short distance from the bakery.

“This limited seating restaurant requires advanced reservations if you want to be sure to get in. Located directly on the shore of Lake Superior you will be treated to a delightful sunset most days. Our recommendation for food is the brisket or fillet if it is available, but skip the cheesecake - not worth the calories in our opinion.”

“Stop in at the mine to visit their well stocked gift shop and to book a tour into the mine. It is worth setting aside a couple hours to experience the life of the miners who settled in this area. Some of the hardships they faced are difficult to imagine in this age of advanced technology.”

“The KBC taproom is a fun place to hang out and drink low cost microbrew. There is a deck out back during nice weather and a fireplace to warm up during the winter. They do sell food (other than peanuts) but you can bring food to enjoy with your beer or non-alcoholic beverage.”
