Stop in at the mine to visit their well stocked gift shop and to book a tour into the mine. It is worth setting aside a couple hours to experience the life of the miners who settled in this area. Some of the hardships they faced are difficult to imagine in this age of advanced technology.

If you would like to see a mine from the past, this place is set up to do tours. Bring a jacket and hat, as the temp. below is in the 30's. Very chilly, even in the summer. You will take a tram car ride down below. This tour is fun for kids and adults alike.

Copper mining built this area. The Quincy Mine Tour is the most comprehensive mine tour in the Keweenaw. Perfect activity for a rainy day.
