A garden lost in time. Aberglasney is my highly recommended destination to visit. A grand mansion set within beautifully restored mature gardens with a lovely tea room. 33 minute drive away.

“Another one of my must see destinations. A dramatic castle ruin on a cliff edge surrounded by rolling lush green Welsh hills. Are you brave to venture down the cave? 45 mins drive away from Kidwelly. ”

Almenningsgarður
“Dinefwr Park National Nature Reserve is an 800 acres estate about 1.5 kilometres from the centre of Llandeilo in Carmarthenshire owned by the National Trust, with a mansion in the centre, a landscaped deer park, lake and trails. The highest point is occupied by the ruined Dinefwr Castle, ancient castle of the Deheubarth kingdom. Located just 5 miles from the barns (SA19 6RT) it makes for a great day out. Non national trust members pay £5 to park for the day and £8 to enter Newton Mansion House. There is an outdoor café for refreshments and toilets. Alternatively you can easily park for free on the road outside of the reserve and walk in. ”

“A great spot to take in the view of the valley and perfectly situated near Wrights Food Emporium for a pit stop. You can see the tower from the accommodation which is sometimes lit up at night (10mins away) ”
