You pass this at the Gaia hotel as you drive to the Riverside Cottage. This restaurant offers a wonderful menu with locally sourced, farm-fresh items. Their bar is fully equipped with a wonderful selection y to o choose from.

This restaurant is one of our favorites. It is the highest level of American cuisine you will find in the Anderson and Cottonwood area. Redding has a few Restaurants that would be rated higher on our scale. The Woodside Grill is not so high end that you have to worry about dressing up for the meal. Its pretty casual around here and the restaurants are very used to locals dressing in shorts or jeans and tshirts for going out. Great clam chowder on Fridays and always great salads! My daughters love their hamburgers and pastas dishes as well. The menu isn't huge but what you do find on it is quality. Their hours are 6:30am to 2:00pm then 5:00pm to 9:00pm.

The 10 minute drive is worth it. The food and atmosphere is great! After your meal, take a walk behind the Gaia hotel to see the pond and swans
