This place has outstanding food, moderate prices, and gets crowded. The homemade desserts are legendary, and the Sunday brunch is a must visit. If you are going for dinner, you can make reservations.

If a day trip to Taos is on your agenda, this is the ONLY place to stop for lunch between here and there... and it is on the High Road to Taos, the best and most scenic way to get there.

If you're taking the High Road to Taos scenic byway, this is a popular spot for breakfast/brunch. Food is good and they have fresh baked desserts that will make you drool. But it can get very busy during peak occasions (Mother's Day for example) and service can be painfully slow.

incredible food and service here. Kai was a chef in San Francisco for 25 years i think.
