Uchi is our favorite sushi restaurant. We'd highly recommend going for happy hour that starts at 5pm, but get there at 4:45pm to secure your spot! Otherwise, don't forget to make a reservation, this place is hopping!
Call in a reservation a week in advance if you can, this place has some of the best sushi I've ever had!
Sushi plus creative hot & cold dishes from chef Tyson Cole in a stylish, sophisticated setting.
Renowned sushi restaurant. An expensive but memorable and delicious dinner. You’ll need a reservation.
Unbelievable sushi- pricey except for their sake social hour. We go to it all the time!

“65 degree temperature all year round whether you want to swim or sit by the water and admire the view it is an absolute MUST SEE. Some interesting history: Long before Barton Springs Pool was built, the springs were considered sacred and were used for purification rituals by the Tonkawa Native American tribe who inhabited the area. Spanish explorers first found the springs in the 17th century, and around 1730 erected temporary missions at the site (later moving to San Antonio). In 1837, soon after incorporation of the city of Austin, William ("Uncle Billy") Barton, the springs' namesake, settled the area. Barton named the three separate springs after his three daughters: Parthenia, Eliza, and Zenobia. He, and subsequent owners of the property, recognized its value as a tourist attraction, and promoted it vigorously, thus leading to the swimming hole's lasting popularity. This also insured that the spring would be open to all visitors and be protected from any development.”
