Open to the public. If you're interested in driving (rather than hiking) to one of the most stunning views of the Blue Ridge Mountains atop one of the mountains - it's right here in Greenville County. Just look for the name: "Pretty Place." All the locals can tell you.

Fred W. Symmes outdoor chapel is called "Pretty Place" by locals because of its amazing view. It is within YMCA Camp Greenville and was built in 1941 on the side of the mountain. It is a popular spot for weddings so call or check their calendar beforehand.
