The Bridge between continents is a small footbridge over a major fissure which provides clear evidence of the presence of a diverging plate margin. The bridge was built as a symbol for the connection between Eurasian and North America tectonic plates. Distance from LWC is approx 20km.

Cave
“The Giantess Cave is a must-visit when in Keflavik. This is the place where the locals bring their children when they want them to stop using pacifiers. Inside the cave where the giantess sleeps there is a tree where the children hang their pacifiers as a gift to the giantess children. Be a child once again and visit the giantess cave. It's approx 300 meters from Little White Castle.”

“Take a daytrip in direction Hafnarfjörður - Krisuvíkurvegur and see lake Kleifarvatn. Close to the lake are geothermal springs. Go further to Suðurstrandarvegur in direction Þórlaukshöfn and have a coffee in T-Bær, close to Strandarkirkja. Back home via Hveragerdi.”

“A classic example of the roughly built turf, stone and timber fishermans' cottage, once common on the Reykjanes peninsula and other coastal areas of Iceland. Opened to the puplic.”
