It's a wetland. It should satisfy the environmentalist in you.

My favorite trail here in London. Need a place to clear you're head, an evening walk with the family? The Sifton Bog features a short board walk that can be enjoyed in any season of the year, and free parking!

Walking trails (no bikes). Great boardwalk and very close by with lots of nature.

One of London’s most frequented natural landmarks, the Sifton Bog is a Class 2 provincially significant wetland. The main feature of this 41.6-hectare public site is the floating acid peat bog and associated boreal plant life. Deciduous swamp and upland forest surround the bog, providing a sharp contrast between the northern (boreal) and southern (Carolinian) vegetation types.

20-30 minute hike into the bog, turn around and come back- very accessible and a nice escape from the city
