The best independent cinema in Göteborg, screening movies that might not be available at the big places. Also a great restaurant/pub. The food is brilliant.

Kino is in the basement of the old cinema. For wine, beer and some food.

Is a nice place, they only serve vegetarian food and färslimpan is my recommendation here. Its also a cinema were they focus on quality films from around the world, with an emphasis on films that do not come from Hollywood.

Here you can wacht an alternative movie and have a nice vegetarian dinner at the same time. The restuarant is very popular so be there in time!

Visit Hagabion! Take a drink, drink a coffee, watch a not so mainstream movie. Hagabion is run by the association Folkets Bio in Gothenburg, which is a local branch of Folkets Bio. Folkets Bio was started in 1973 so that films that the commercial industry did not want to show would have the opportunity to meet an audience.
