If you want to have a real, local food experience, go to Kon Tiki and have a CIORBA DE BURTA! It is not a touristy place, locals go there and they ussually take-out the CIORBA, so don`t have high expectations about the place or its surroundings, but all that won`t matter once you try the garlicky romanian CIORBA!

The best tripe soup in town (ciorba de burta). Additionally, you can order small sausages with mustard (mici cu mustar) and a local bear. The staff doesn't speak English, the menu is in Romanian, the restaurant is a bit spooky, but I still recommended for great food and an authentic Romanian experience. All the other traditional Romanian restaurants are very touristy.
