Walk out of the chalet to the beach and turn right (opposite direction to Bridlington). Walk on the beach for a good half hour passing World War II bunkers to Fraisthorpe Beach. This is the windsurfing beach where people do sports activities. Look to your right you will see a grassed car park above the beach walk inland up to the car park, cross it and there you will find the dog friendly Cow Shed Inn which serves teas, coffees, beers and food, snacks and main meals. It closed at 4 pm but check. Nice to walk back through the grassed car park overlooking the beach back to the chalet on the little footpath edging the beach all the way back. A nice loop walk with a dog friendly refreshment stop half way. If you can't walk this far, it is a particular lovely drive on the main road to Fraisthorpe Beach through country lanes amongst all the windmills.
