Very important museum. Not only is it the largest (by extension and number of finds, not to mention the importance and uniqueness of the latter!) Archaeological Museum of Italy north of Rome, but together with that of Villa Gliulia, in Rome, it is the most important museum structure in the world for Etruscan civilization. It houses many unique works, famous and present in all the manuals of ancient art, both in the Etruscan and Greek and Egyptian fields, with absolute masterpieces in bronze, silver, ivory, gold, wood, ceramic and marble, as well as an amazing collection of Etruscan, Greek and Roman cameos and carvings, once part of the Medici-Lorraine collection, and one of the largest and most important numismatic collections in the world. It is also free if you present a ticket that includes entrance to the Uffizi. Highly recommended.

Large parts of the Etruscan, Greek and Roman collections were collected the Medici and Lorraine families. Also the Egyptian
