Nice long beach with access at south and north ends. Camping along the bluffs is nice, but usually requires reservations months in advance. About 10 miles away.

Lots of little beaches in Carlsbad all connected but if you Google “beaches near me” the first is less than 9 mi away. Our favorite is at the very end of Carlsbad Village Dr. Down the stairs and feel the sand beneath you and breath the salt water air.

Beautiful white sandy beaches with public parking and public restrooms. Dual level seawall great for runners and people watching.

24 MIN - Our first choice for a nearby beach experience! Get to the coast in less than 30 minutes and hit up the beaches near Carlsbad, CA then visit the town center for food, drinks and shopping.
