Since 1940, The Sembrich has operated as a museum, performance venue, and foundation in honor of the Polish-American soprano Marcella Sembrich. Originally the teaching studio of the famed soprano, the intimate Spanish revival building was built following Sembrich’s appointments to the Juilliard Graduate School and Curtis Institute of Music voice faculties. Sembrich’s estate originally encompassed over 55 acres and boasted the lakeside manor “Bay View.” Today, The Sembrich preserves and maintains 4.5 acres of the original estate.

The Studio and Museum is located on the lake with a nature trail circling the peninsula - with stunning lake views. A park like setting for dog walking or just a quiet stretch of woodland grounds sure to please.
