Beautiful scenic trail for walking and biking.

This is a linear walking and bike path that I love to do. The entire part of this trail is along the Susquehanna River. Trail is well maintained. About 35 minutes drive from us. Lunch or dinner across the river in Wrightsville or restaurants in Marietta and Columbia. Columbia is an antique mecca.

Visit Turkey Hill Nature Preserve and Overlook Area. The preserve is located on the Susquehanna River, and affords beautiful views of the river and York County countryside on the opposite shore. On a clear day, the Conjohela Flats (important bird habitat to the north of the preserve) and High Point Scenic Vista park are within view. This preserve is also home to the southern terminus of the Enola Low Grade Rail Trail. Currently,this section of rail trail runs 5 miles south to the old Safe Harbor bridge, which has been decommissioned.
