The food is delicious - they offer the best seafood chowder I've ever had. Fish cakes, milk cake, fresh baking - it's all soooo good. The service is excellent and the atmosphere clean and comfortable!

The Cedar House is a local eatery that has a diner feeling. The interior is a little like a 70s time capsule, so it is interesting to visit. Everyone is very kind and nice, and locals from the Boularderie Island work in this establishment. The food ranges from sandwiches, hamburgers, and fish and chips to fresh grilled Haddock. I think that most people will be able to find something that would fit their diet on the menu. There are also huge homemade pies and cakes, extensive baked goods, and coffee. Guests may also just stop in for Strawberry, Vanilla, and Chocolate ice cream in a cone or cup without actually sitting down for a meal. I have only had the Haddock, and it was very fresh.
