This is the place where a lot of locals and tourists love to hike. You may see runners and bikers in this area. This is a good place to be during the weekend. Please make sure you bring good hiking shoes, sunscreen, water and hat.
Hike the beach and the Torrey Pines bluffs. Follow the other walkers/hikers. You can do the beach first, and climb the bluffs; or go up Highway 101 and descend the bluffs to the Pacific. It’s a great early morning hike; very San Diego! There’s free parking along Highway 101 and the Pacific. …
A beautiful display of cliffs over looking the Pacific Ocean. Hike, bike, or stroll around Torrey Pines and take-in the fresh ocean air.
One of our favorite spots in San Diego, feels a little like Big Sur! The ocean and cliffs combination is breathtaking. Quite a few hiking options, though it does get crowded on the weekends. A must-see if you’re into the outdoors! Requires a state parks pass or day use fee. About 25 minutes away.
