Although there's a great restaurant, confectionery and café operating here this time we call your attention for Czakó Piac held on Saturdays from 9am to 2pm. It is a really small market with incredibly tasty and unique products. Smoked goose breast, aged goat cheese, Hungarian gray cattle and mangalica pork sausages and salamis and many more seasonal goods like mushrooms or forest herbs are on sale. Easy access by public transportation from Ferenciek tere.

This place is a must visit on the Buda side, above the city but close to S23. Take bus number 8, and it takes you there within 6 minutes. In Czakó kert (garden) you experince the Balaton vineyard atmoshere. This unique place also has a Wine cellar-don t miss out on it if you are there! And a nice food market on Saturdays till 2 o clock. As I live on the Buda side, I visit this place several times every week.

Amazing athmosphere in the last remaining tipical old house in Tabán area. Good food, a la carte breakfast and dinner. Saturday farmer's market.
